The pool area at THB San Fermín is the ideal spot to unwind and enjoy a leisurely day during your vacation. Embrace tranquility and treat yourself to a day of relaxation in this idyllic setting.
The customer service was incredible. The staff really went above and beyond. Very friendly, yet very professional. Great sense of humour - we could have a laugh and a joke with them all. Our connecting flight was cancelled and therefore we couldn't arrive until the morning after our booking- I was panicking and persistently messaging the hotel to make sure that they didn't give our room away, and they were very patient, and, very calming and assured me all would be fine. They took into consideration my requests for a high level, quiet room, due to my husband being unwell with cancer, and our room was fabulous, floor 8 even with a beautiful relaxing view. The food was great - plenty of choice, and good opening hours. The bar area by the pool is great, and the staff there absolutely fantastic too, as were the main reception staff. There is a snack van for lunch during the day which is great. Plenty of sunbeds, no need to rush down at 6am, there are an abundance of sunbeds with umbrellas for those that require shade. The fresh water pool is lovely and refreshing to dip in and out when you're too hot, and a fantastic size and depth for those who wish to swim laps for exercise. I noticed the gym, which looked fab, but I didn't go in. We had some issues with my husband's health when we were there, and there evening receptionist gentelman was super helpful - calling us a taxi to take us to a local walk in clinic, explaining to the taxi driver where he should take us, which was very helpful during a worrying time. The hotel is in a great area - there are convenience stores in walking distance, a short walk down to the main road for all the bars and shops, and a short walk to the marina. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is superb. The staff were excellent and friendly (reception, bar, restaurant and housekeeping). On our first night, we arrived late and they offered to include lunch on the last day as part of our full-board package as we’d missed the first meal, a great start. The rooms were slick and modern with a power shower and comfy beds. Bright and functional room plus a free beer in the fridge. The patio doors wouldn’t lock, I reported it to reception and they fixed it within an hour - at 8 in the evening, brilliant! The rest of our stay was a joy, great breakfast selection, lovely lunch and dinner selection with a live cooking station doing 4 varieties of meat and fish each meal. Plenty of fresh fruit and veg at every meal, all the toppings you’d need. Pool was excellent. Always able to get a sunlounger. Pool towels could be rented from reception for 2E (plus deposit) and borrowed until departure, even tho we left after checkout time. Best of all was the superb friendly service throughout our stay, including on the last day when we were given access to a spare shower room and bag storage area, secured with key and CCTV. I would definitely return, we loved it here.

On my last night at the hotel, I asked a receptionist for a pen and notepad. The lady apologised for not being able to find it immediately. Within two hours upon return from town, she signalled me and gave me a brand new notepad and a branded pen. This little example indicates just how committed the staff were at the hotel throughout my stay. The cleaners were attentive to my needs; they changed the sheets and towels each time I asked without question, in addition to the regular rota. Any extra work was done without delay. The room was spotless and spacious. Air con excellent. Large balcony. Quiet and well designed. The food was fabulous. At dinner, I frequently enjoyed the extra perks like show cooking. I recommend the Galinetta - Rose Fish, yum! The clientele was civilised, and though I only sat at the pool twice - I do prefer the sea - it was nice with plenty of sun beds. The hotel was located atop of a hill and to me that did not pose a problem as I love walking, plus it was away from the busy traffic near the beach. If I am to return to Benalmadena, I will certainly stay at THB San Fermin.

Nice and clean with friendly helpful staff. Lots of common areas to relax in. 3 pools and grassed areas with sunbeds. Breakfast choice is vast. Large clean dining room with every conceivable choice of cheeses and cooked meats. Lots of cereal and breads to choose from. Coffee tea and fruit juice available. All self service and as much as you can eat. A little tricky to make up a convincing full English though, the bacon looks more like Spanish ham and I thought the sausages were raw at first glance. They’re not, I think they were steamed but actually tasted really nice. The mushrooms were cooked with garlic and there were also beans, eggs and toast etc Well worth €8. You can pay as you go if you are room only. Just turn up and hand over your money to the nice lady at the desk.

Good sized room.. The view wasn't good. To have a pool view was extra. If you book directly with tne hotel you get a nicer view and free safe. Bed comfy brilliant shower and lovely bathroom. Cleaning daily, however, very basic . The staff were all very friendly Special mention to reception.staff Caroline and Lewis they are so helpful and friendly. We were checked in early and swiftly. Pool area is beautiful . Well-maintained and very spacious. No sunbed shortages. I would definitely recommend San Fermin.
